Chelsea White

Chelsea White, LCMHC, LCASA has been an integral part of mental wellness in our community for over 9 years.  She is passionate about helping children, adults, and families live a full, balanced healthy life.  She makes it her mission to assist people in navigating life challenges with coping, interpersonal, and social skills. Chelsea obtained her undergraduate and graduate degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with an M.S. degree in Mental Health Rehabilitation Counseling.  To further Chelsea’s passion and drive in this field, she is a member of the LPCANC and a National Certified Counselor.  She has most recent experience in outpatient therapy, as well as, previously working in more acute care settings.  Chelsea enjoys working with people of all ages and has the most experience with anxiety related disorders (social, separation, generalized), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Autism, Disinhibited social engagement disorder (DSED), and PTSD.  Theoretically, Chelsea uses research-based methodologies such as Play-Therapy (ages 10 and under), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Integrative Therapy, and Person-Centered.  Personally, Chelsea likes to practice self-care by doing DIY projects, cooking, painting, canoeing, traveling, and aromatherapy.
